Washington, D.C. — Capitol Funding Solutions (CFS) is pleased to announce that a proposal written for GO Lab, Inc. (dba TimberHP) was awarded $418,420 through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Reducing Embodied Greenhouse Gas Emissions for Construction Materials and Products Grant Program.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
GO Lab, Inc.’s project is dedicated to developing accurate and transparent EPDs for scalable, carbon-negative insulation products. To achieve this, TimberHP will install state-of-the-art equipment and software to capture comprehensive energy and raw material usage data. This data will be meticulously allocated to each production line, supporting the development and publication of EPDs for TimberHP’s three product lines over the first five years of production.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This grant program aims to support businesses manufacturing construction materials and products in developing and verifying EPDs. Additionally, it aims to assist states, Indian Tribes, and nonprofit organizations in aiding these businesses.
