Funding Opportunity: Brownfield Grants
Six grant opportunities were opened by the EPA for brownfields revitalization. These opportunities include grants for assessment, cleanup, and revolving loan funds.
The funds are open to states, tribal nations, communities, and nonprofit organizations to prevent, inventory, assess, clean up, and reuse brownfield sites.
The deadline for applications is November 22.
Brownfield funding received a significant increase in the Infrastructure Bill resulting in additional award opportunities and NO required non-federal cost share. In addition, voluntary non-federal cost shares are not provided extra consideration in the evaluation process.
