Samantha Strauss
About Samantha:
In her role as an Associate Writer, Samantha supports and manages funding proposals for clients, working collaboratively to ensure their success. Her previous experience in project management and writing helps to further the goals of Capitol Funding Solutions. Prior to joining CFS, Samantha was an intern for Senator Warner and a writer for Modern Treatise. Through these experiences, she developed and improved her project management skills and writing skills, as well as her experience with the federal government.
In 2023, Samantha graduated from William & Mary with a degree in government and history. Her senior thesis focused on the impact of social media on perceptions of congressional efficacy. Additionally, she worked in a disinformation lab on campus, studying domestic and foreign disinformation and their effects. Originally from Chesapeake, Va, she currently resides in Washington, D.C. She enjoys exploring the many museums D.C. has to offer and finding new coffee shops to patronize.
