Becky Nictakis
About Becky:
With over 20 years of experience in politics, strategic planning, and fundraising, Becky works with clients to find and win competitive funding. She has won hundreds of millions of dollars for programming, research, infrastructure, and capital expenses. Working with businesses, local and tribal governments, universities, ports, economic development groups, and non-profits across the United States, Becky has helped to develop aggressive programs to identify and win grants and other competitive funding.
Becky’s career began in the political arena with positions in campaign management, political action committee establishment, and fundraising. She then started a business working with non-profits to rebrand, advance their mission and raise money. Her clients included corporate foundations, schools, workforce development organizations, and arts nonprofits. Recognizing the need for small and mid-size organizations to access federal funds, and the lack of resources available to them, she designed a company to provide the expertise and creativity necessary to build successful grant programs.
Combining her experience in grant writing, strategic planning, and politics, Becky is a hands-on partner in building robust programs to win federal funding. She leads a team that offers a full end-to-end suite of services to develop funding strategies, position clients for success, identify grants and other funding opportunities, and write compelling applications.
Becky grew up in Palmyra, New Jersey and graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After twenty years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she now lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband, Mike and their three children, John, Lauren, and Emmy.
